# Highlightz > Highlightz watches live Twitch and Kick streams and catches the clip > itself, the moment something happens. It monitors the live broadcast, scores > every second, and when a moment fires it makes a real Twitch clip through > Twitch's official Clips API AND keeps the video file, so the clip can be downloaded and taken anywhere. Reframing for vertical (Clip Editor) and posting to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram (Scheduler, and Autopilot with nobody in the loop) are built and in testing, not yet open to accounts. > Not AI: a readable formula, and every clip shows which signal fired. The full public copy — every FAQ answer, the walkthrough, the plans and the comparison — is at https://highlightz.app/llms-full.txt. ## What it does - Monitors live Twitch and Kick channels continuously and clips automatically, with no one watching the stream. Add a channel before it goes live and it is rechecked every 30 seconds; monitoring stops after 8 hours without the dashboard being opened. - Scores each second from seven live signals (chat erupts, loud reaction, chat calls for the clip, viewers flood in, emotions run high, silence, then chaos, chat speaks as one) against that channel's own threshold, so a small channel and a huge one are judged the same way. - On Twitch, creates a real Twitch clip through the official Clips API using your own authorised Twitch account (Twitch makes and hosts that clip) and keeps the video file too. On Kick, which has no clip API, the file is the clip. - Keeps a private video file of each clip for the account that caught it, so it can be downloaded, edited and scheduled. While a channel is monitored it may record a few minutes of the live public broadcast into a rolling buffer that is continuously overwritten, so a detected moment can be saved as a file for that account; where that recording did not catch the moment, the clip's video is fetched from Twitch on request instead. Nothing is publicly re-hosted — the clip itself stays a Twitch-hosted clip. An opted-out channel is never recorded. See the Privacy Policy for retention. - Highlight clips: alongside the score, a second way of finding moments. They arrive in the review queue marked Highlight, in purple, are usually the higher-quality clips, and a green label marks the ones that stood out even more. Each plan has its own Highlight allowance. - Puts every clip in a review queue first. Nothing is posted anywhere until you approve it. Autopilot (Pro, off by default) then renders each approved clip for vertical and queues it to the accounts you connected, so approving is the only click. Approving and rejecting tunes the channel's threshold to your taste. - Scans finished broadcasts (VODs) for highlights on the Pro plan. - Any Twitch broadcaster can opt their channel out at any time; it takes effect immediately across every account. ## Who it is for Streamers who want their own highlights clipped while they play, and clippers and editors who follow several channels at once and cannot watch them all. ## Plans - Free — $0, no card, no time limit. 1 channel monitored, 20-clip review queue, 5 Highlight clips, 30 clips kept a week. - Starter — $10/month. 3 channels at once, 50-clip queue, 25 Highlight clips, 100 clips kept a week. - Pro — $25/month. 10 channels at once, 200-clip queue, 75 Highlight clips, unlimited clips kept, plus the VOD Scanner. The Clip Editor, the Scheduler and Autopilot are built and in testing — not yet open to accounts, and not part of what Pro buys today. Nothing is metered by the minute: a plan buys channels, and a channel is watched for every second it is live. Cancelling returns the account to Free and keeps every approved clip. ## How it differs from upload-based clippers Tools like Opus Clip and Eklipse take a finished video and cut it up afterwards, and both sell a subscription and then meter it in credits or minutes that run out and have to be bought again. Highlightz watches the stream live and clips as it happens, so a moment is captured while it is still on air. The Twitch clip is made through Twitch's own API and lives on Twitch under your account; the video file Highlightz keeps beside it is what the Clip Editor, Scheduler and Autopilot work from, with no upload step and no credits to run out. ## Pages - [Home](https://highlightz.app/): what it catches, how it scores, pricing, FAQ. - [Tutorial](https://highlightz.app/tutorial): step-by-step setup and how each screen works. - [Comparison](https://highlightz.app/compare): Highlightz vs Opus Clip vs Eklipse on price, credits and features. - [Blog](https://highlightz.app/blog): guides to making money clipping — the five main clipping marketplaces and their requirements, TikTok Creator Rewards, YouTube Shorts, and finding streamer campaigns. Kick is open on every plan, and you can sign in with a Kick account or a Twitch account (a Kick account connects Twitch from the Account tab to clip Twitch channels). Highlight clips are Twitch-only. - Highlightz is operated by ANTI Technology LLC. Support: support@highlightz.app.
