What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies help the site remember information about your visit so you don't have to re-enter it each time.
Cookies We Use
Highlightz uses a minimal number of cookies — only what is strictly necessary to operate the Service:

The dashboard also uses your browser's local storage for two small preferences. These are not cookies and are never sent to our servers — they stay in your browser, and clearing your site data clears them.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any equivalent service.
Third-Party Cookies
When you sign in via Twitch, Twitch may set cookies on their own domain as part of the OAuth2 flow. These are governed by Twitch's Privacy Notice. When you complete a payment via Stripe, Stripe may set cookies on their domain. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Clips are embedded from Twitch's own player, which may set cookies on Twitch's domain when a clip is played. We have no control over or access to any third-party cookies set on their respective domains.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting the session cookie will sign you out of the Service and require you to sign in again on your next visit. Most browsers allow you to:
View and delete cookies · Block cookies from specific sites · Block all cookies · Delete all cookies when you close the browser
